Prayer for Discipline of the Heart
Prayer Journal - Wednesday 2/4/26
Yesterday, I read my Bible but rather than write here, I decided to rest and just spend some time thinking and praying. I will still try to post a prayer a few times a week if I am able. Today, I am feeling truly blessed. The Lord gave me a solution that solves a few of my organizing dilemmas in my home! Hallelujah!
It's truly incredible to read the story of the Ten Commandments again!
Jesus' message to the Pharisees is serious business! How many times have I been a hypocrite? And how much more do I hope I won't be one again!
Father God, help me to fear You in order to keep my body and mind from sinning against You. Help me to remember that what happens in my mind and my heart is just as, if not even more, important than what can be observed in my actions and speech. Help me to repent when I do fail and turn back to You. Please help me grow to be more disciplined in my thoughts and in my heart as well as my speech and actions. Please guard my heart and help me to have wisdom and discernment so that I may not be fooled. Help me to internalize Your Word so that I am equipped with the truth.
Thank You for Your answers to prayer this week. Thank You that there is nothing too great or small for You to help. Thank You for the love and health of my family and friends. Please help us all to stay safe. Please be with those who are suffering in any way big or small and give them peace.
