A quiet prayer
Devotional Reflection - Monday (10/13/25)
Today's readings from the Bible in a Year website are:
Father God, Thank You for all the blessings of this life and of today. Thank you for protecting my son and for loving him. Please give him wisdom and kindness in his heart and help him to grow to love You and know You. Please help me to be a faithful messenger. Please give me wisdom to do Your Will and say the proper word at the proper time. Help me to be a better listener. Please continue to soften my heart. Father God, please speak to my heart and help me grieve, help me forgive, and help me know what Your Will is for my life each day. In Jesus' Precious Name, Amen.
My heart is quiet and I don't have much to say. In Ecclesiastes, (likely) King Solomon reminds us that there's a time to be silent and a time to speak. It's my turn to be silent today.
