Prayer for Mature Faith
Devotional Reflection - Wednesday (11/5/25)
It looks like these don't follow after the readings from yesterday. There must have been an update to this website as well.
I'd really like to cover a little bit of the readings that are between these and yesterday's because my study Bible does a pretty good job of explaining things.
Tomorrow, I will just follow with the readings that are posted on the site (and hopefully they don't jump around too much anymore).
According to the notes here in my study Bible, the beginning of Hebrews 6 is a warning against apostasy. The writer had full hope that the readers would become mature listeners because of their previously shown love for Christ and their service in His Name.
That is a comfort to my soul too.
Father God, thank You for the hope that Your Holy Word can bring to my heart. Thank You for the encouragement we receive by reading and studying and seeking You. Help me grow in my faith and understanding of You. Help me shine my light in the world and let Your will be done in my life. Give me wisdom and courage to do the things I need to do each day. Thank You for Your love for all of us and for drawing us back to You when we wander. Please give us peace and joy that can only come from You.
In Your precious Son Jesus' Name, Amen.
