Prayer of Gratitude

 Devotional Reflection - Tuesday (10/16/25)

Today's readings from the Bible in a Year website are:

I am considering the punishment that Israel faced when they turned away from God and were worshiping idols. I'm so grateful for the saving grace of Jesus. We don't have to worry and our minds don't have to suffer when we realize he has already suffered and taken our punishment for us.

My heart is heavy today with gratitude. Even though I know I deserve nothing, God has given me so many blessings.

Father God, Thank You for your Holy Word and for giving us your precious Son Jesus as a sacrifice for our sins and to take our punishment for us so we might be with you in eternity. Thank you for all the blessings of this life and for giving me joy in my heart. I am grateful for this gift of life and I pray that I may spend my days wisely. Please help me to have wisdom and discernment. Please guide me and help me know what to do and say each day to spread the Good News of Jesus. Help my little light shine. Please keep my son in the palm of Your Hands and, if it is Your will, help us to get a good report during his appointment next week. I ask these things in Your Son Jesus' Precious Name, Amen.
